Home for Christmas

Home for Christmas - Music for the Hearth & Soul

There is nothing more special than coming home for Christmas, and nothing harder than being away from home during the holidays. Join us for a wonderful collection of music to warm the heart and hearth. From David Millard's arrangement of medieval Wassails to jazz favourites like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. We will include some very special Hebrew music, Bernstein's Hashkiveinu, bringing messages of peace, strength and hope to us all, together with traditional songs like Masters in this Hall and The Boar’s Head Carol; gentle laughs from P.D.Q. Bach’s Throw the Yule Log on Uncle John; and you might discover what happens during the 12 Days AFTER Christmas. We will be welcoming guest instrumentalists Elinor Harshenin, Cello, and Sydney Tetarenko, Clarinet.
