Touring History

In past years, concerts have also been presented outside the Greater Vancouver area, including two concert tours to Vancouver Island (with concerts in Victoria, Oak Bay, Nanaimo, Cortes Island, Comox, and Port Hardy), concerts in Gibsons and Ganges on Saltspring Island, and two concert tours to the BC interior. In one of the interior tours, concerts were held in Kamloops, Merritt, and Abbotsford, and in the other tour, six concerts were presented in seven days in Kelowna, Salmon Arm, Grand Forks, Castlegar, Creston, and Nelson. The Vivaldi Chamber Choir has also made three foreign concert tours, two to Mexico in 1992 and 1994, and one to the Czech Republic in 1998.

For our foreign tours, those members who could afford it also made donations for their own airfare and for a fund to subsidize the airfare of those members who could not afford to pay their own.

Current Plans

The choir will be visiting Sechelt in October and a concert on Mayne Island is planned for early December

We have also been re-invited to sing during the Van Dusen Gardens Festival of Light and will be pleased to be making a return visit to the George Pearson Centre
