The Vivaldi Chamber Choir is open to all experienced choral singers with some sight-reading ability. A brief audition will be given by appointment to new singers by the choir's Artistic Director, David Millard. The choir maintains a group of about 20 - 30 singers and presents a season comprising three or four sets of concerts, often with two performances of each programme. Performances typically take place in the December Festive Season, in the early Spring and in the late Spring. Whenever it is possible to include extras in a season, tours and retreats or workshops are added to the schedule, as well as engagements within the community (at care facilities, fairs/markets, etc.)
Our membership dues have been kept very low ($1 per year!) to encourage lower income singers to be able to participate, while we have suggested donations of $150 per year from those members who can afford it.
